Agriculture is back bone of Indian Economy and Rural Development which was facing challenges. Globalization and FAO vision "WORLD FREE OF HUNGER AND MALNUTRITION BY 2023❞ creates enormous opportunities in Indian Agriculture to establish an inclusive, consensus and sustainable Agriculture System with Rural Development and food security in India. CARD is contributing with its Core values as Community-Centric Approach, Sustainability, Inclusivity, Innovation and Transparency since 2000 for Nation Building in Agriculture, which at present GDP on current Price Q2 22-23 Rs.71.66Lakh Crore contributing 39% of Gross Domestic produce (GDP) and provide Employment 58% of Population and Rural Development. CARD is facilitating rural communities to adopt an integrated approach to Agriculture, work towards achieving better returns and economic success in partnership with Industry and Institution in the face of rapid Technological Development, climate changes and Globalization with in mandate of GOI Agriculture, Trade, Promotion, Farmers welfare and Rural Development policies and Scheme. The Centre for Agriculture and Rural Development (CARD) is working as Convergent platform committed to the development of the food, agriculture, and rural system in India through futuristic approach on Rural Livelihood Projects, Entrepreneurship development, Capacity building & Awareness programmes for Agriculture and Rural development, Climate smart and Nutrition smart Agriculture, Farmer industry -Entrepreneurship networking platform, Farmer Engagement.
CARD Training program helped to develop Linkages in agricultural inputs management systems, products, services, and farm produce and also facilitate Farmers producer organizations enabling them in Digitize Agriculture which ultimately create cohesive linkages at the level of the Indian rural system with a pan-India outreach.
CARD partners and associates are the Government of India, State governments, Cooperative sectors, Agriculture universities, institution, Apex research bodies, Government Trade channels, public sectors undertaking, National and International Trade Bodies, Agri inputs National/International entrepreneurs, suppliers, Embassy and Chambers.
